You will be responsible for handling a variety of legal issues, gig economy, including labor disputes, wrongful termination suits, discrimination claims, and other employment-related matters. Job Details

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients in all aspects of employment law.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including employment contracts, settlement agreements, and legal memoranda.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, and arbitration proceedings.
• Develop and implement effective defense strategies to protect clients' interests and rights.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current employment laws and regulations, court decisions, and other developments in the field of employment law.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide proactive legal advice to clients to help them avoid potential legal issues and disputes.
• Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an employment defense attorney, preferably representing employers.
• Proven track record of success in handling employment law cases.
• Exceptional legal research skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective legal strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal information clearly and persuasively.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and tasks simultaneously, with strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to providing outstanding client service.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
