Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients on a range of employment law issues, including but not limited to employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and redundancies.
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of employment contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with current employment law.
- Develop, implement, and update employment policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practice.
- Represent clients in employment-related disputes, both in court and before government agencies.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on potential risks and recommend appropriate courses of action.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Employment Law Attorney.
- Proven track record in counseling employers, drafting employment contracts, and preparing employment policies.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in a variety of settings.
