As a key member of our hybrid services, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of intellectual property rights, including patent prosecution, product clearance, and trademarking. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, software, and medical devices, and a thorough understanding of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and prosecution of patent applications
- Manage patent portfolios and trademarking
- Provide legal advice and guidance on intellectual property matters
- Collaborate with engineers and product development teams
- Stay up-to-date with changes in intellectual property laws and regulations
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and a current license to practice law
- Registered Patent Agent with the USPTO
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in intellectual property law
- Strong technical background in electrical engineering, software, and medical devices
- Excellent knowledge of US and international intellectual property laws and regulations
