We are seeking a passionate and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. As a Permanent Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and domestic violence. You must be licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and be fluent in Spanish. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials
- Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and agreements
- Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
- Attend meetings with clients and other professionals, such as social workers and psychologists
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Keep up-to-date with changes in family law and legal procedures
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Florida State Bar
- 8 years of experience practicing family law
- Fluent in Spanish
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Compassionate and empathetic towards clients
- Knowledge of relevant laws and legal procedures
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure
