Fiber Optic Network Manager
We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Network Manager to oversee the installation, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cables. This role involves managing a team of technicians and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fiber splicing, optical line terminal (OLT), dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM), and coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM). They should also have experience as a supervisor or relevant role in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of fiber splicing technicians.
- Oversight of the installation, splicing, testing, and repair of fiber optic cables.
- Ensure the proper use of OLT equipment.
- Manage projects involving DWDM and CWDM.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fiber splicing, with a focus on OLT, DWDM, and CWDM.
- Proven experience as a supervisor or relevant role in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of fiber optic network infrastructure and related equipment.
- Proficiency in using various fiber splicing tools and equipment.
