We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Financial Analyst with a passion for the Real Estate industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial forecasting, analyzing financial data, budgeting, and financial modeling. This role will play a significant part in our company's financial decision-making processes and will have a direct impact on our strategic planning and business operations. Responsibilities

• Develop complex financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues including capital investments, pricing, contract negotiations, project funding, and risk assessment.
• Conduct financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Participate in strategy development and planning, facilitate the long-term financial planning process.
• Understand and communicate the financial implications of any changes to project scope and/or timelines.
• Manage municipal tax compliance and reporting, ensuring all requirements are met.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
• Strong experience in the real estate industry is highly desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including the ability to create complex financial models.
• Proven ability to perform in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of municipal tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
