Responsibilities:
- Implement cost accounting procedures consistent with corporate guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate cost reporting.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Making estimates of new and proposed product costs.
- Provide management with reports specifying factors affecting prices and profitability.
- Assist in the month-end close of the general ledger.
- Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.
- Review depreciation, labor, and overhead rates and suggest policy changes.
- Work closely with the production team to understand and manage factory overhead.
- Assist in developing and implementing new systems and procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1 years of Cost Accounting experience in manufacturing or construction.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability.
