Responsibilities
- Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating all audit activities.
- Leading budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing programs, and proposed new sites.
- Implementing and managing all financial and accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Managing and tracking the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
- Leveraging insights from financial reporting systems to drive business improvement.
- Coordinating the preparation of the corporate annual report.
- Implementing operational best practices.
- Supervising acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.
- Working closely with leadership to formulate the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA required.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role with 7 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, Sage Intacct preferred.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Knowledge of auditing practices and principles.
- Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to direct and supervise.
