Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
- Perform reconciliations across multiple entities and accounting frameworks (US GAAP/IFRS)
- Act as a key point of contact for external auditors during quarterly and annual audits
- Draft and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Conduct technical accounting research and prepare supporting documentation and memos
- Lead the adoption of new accounting standards and pronouncements
- Identify and implement improvements across consolidation and reporting processes
- Develop and deliver internal training on evolving GAAP requirements and financial reporting standards
- Support the planning and forecasting process, including budgets, forecasts, and rolling plans
- Produce monthly internal reports and presentation materials for senior management review
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with 5 years of relevant experience
- Active CPA certification
- Background in public accounting; Big 4 experience strongly preferred
- Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Prior experience in a publicly listed or IPO-prep environment
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation and reporting cycles
- Proficiency in ERP or financial reporting systems (SAP or Hyperion preferred)
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
- Experience in oil & gas or industrial manufacturing a plus
