What You’ll Bring to the Table:
Reporting Maven:
- Lead the preparation, review, and submission of financial statements for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring full compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Oversee monthly consolidations and identify opportunities for enhancing ERP systems to improve efficiency.
- Research and resolve technical accounting issues by writing clear, comprehensive memos to support decisions.
- Collaborate closely with auditors to ensure financial filings are submitted on time and with meticulous documentation.
- Support forecasting and profitability analysis while contributing to budgeting strategies that align with organizational goals.
Compliance Trailblazer:
- Implement and maintain compliance frameworks for federal grants, covering procurement, cost accounting, and oversight standards.
- Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external agencies for grant-specific reporting requirements.
- Develop audit-ready documentation and reporting tools to ensure grant utilization remains transparent and traceable.
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to internal teams to instill compliance practices across all project areas.
Strategic Visionary:
- Partner across functions—including legal, operations, and supply chain—to align financial reporting with organizational priorities.
- Monitor evolving accounting standards and compliance regulations, applying them to enhance reporting processes and reduce risk.
- Create scalable solutions that balance reporting accuracy with compliance reliability.
What Makes You the Ideal Candidate?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification strongly preferred.
- 5 years of financial reporting experience, with exposure to public accounting or SEC reporting a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain thorough compliance processes and records.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data paired with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams and navigating regulatory frameworks with ease.
