We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly analytical Permanent Group Inventory Control Analyst to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading manufacturing company, where you will play a key role in optimizing our inventory processes and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Group Inventory Control Analyst, you will be responsible for
- Developing and implementing inventory control procedures and best practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Managing and maintaining our inventory system, ensuring all inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Utilizing WMS and RFID systems to track, monitor, and manage inventory.
- Collaborating with various departments to forecast inventory needs and manage stock levels.
- Conducting regular inventory audits and providing detailed reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and adjustments.
- Assisting in the preparation and management of the annual budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and potential inventory issues.
- Leading and participating in cross-functional projects to improve overall inventory management and reduce costs.
- Providing training and support to other team members on inventory control procedures and systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control management within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing WMS and RFID systems.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across the organization.
- Strong experience in budget management and forecasting.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, is required.
- APICS certification is preferred but not required.
