Responsibilities
As an HR Generalist, your primary responsibilities will include
- Overseeing talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Conducting employee onboarding and helping to plan training & development.
- Administering compensation and benefit plans.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Managing employee relations, including conflict resolution.
- Ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
- Promoting a positive and open work environment to boost employee engagement.
- Conducting research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the company’s HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or talent management system.
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Enhancing job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team building activities.
The ideal candidate for the HR Generalist position should possess the following qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in talent acquisition, interviewing, employee relations, HR compliance, EEO, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, recruiting, recruitment, new hire orientations.
- Solid understanding of HR management, performance management, HR policies, organizational development, training & development, benefits administration, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Proven experience in managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.
