Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal defense services to our clients in the insurance industry, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and workers' compensation claims.
- Develop and implement robust defense strategies, utilizing your litigation and mediation skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Conduct thorough and detailed investigations into claims, gathering all necessary information and evidence to build a strong defense.
- Represent our clients in court, presenting compelling arguments and effectively cross-examining witnesses.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, working to minimize the financial impact on our clients.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in insurance law, ensuring our defense strategies are always compliant and effective.
- Work closely with our team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on insurance defense.
- Proven track record of success in litigation and mediation.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to achieve favorable settlements.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
