Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and manage international and domestic tax engagements
- Oversee planning and reporting for foreign entities, trusts, and businesses
- Review complex international tax filings (5471, 5472, 8992, 8865, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with U.S. international tax laws and reporting requirements
- Prepare and review returns for individuals and corporations/partnerships
- Provide clients with strategic tax planning and structuring guidance
- Serve as a trusted advisor, identifying additional service opportunities
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client strategy and team development
- Mentor and manage staff in a high-performance environment
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- CPA Certification (Active)
- Minimum 5 years of international tax experience in public accounting
- Deep compliance knowledge of Forms 5471, 5472, FBAR, FATCA, foreign tax credits, etc.
- Strong experience in tax planning for foreign trusts and entities
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and mentor team members
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
