Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated attorney with 2-6 years of experience in land use and zoning law to join our growing team in Miami, Florida. If you’re looking for an exciting opportunity to work on complex zoning and land use matters, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel on complex land use and zoning matters across various Florida jurisdictions, including Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County.
Conduct zoning due diligence and code compliance reviews for real estate transactions and development projects.
Prepare and file applications for administrative and public hearing approvals, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
Assist with commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and affordable housing tax credits.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, governmental entities, and clients, to drive projects forward.
What We’re Looking For
2-6 years of experience in land use and zoning matters, specifically within Florida’s real estate landscape.
Demonstrated ability to handle complex zoning and land use issues, including navigating local regulations and requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and regulatory agencies.
Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver, capable of working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong technical, professional, and client service skills.
Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration and building relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Member of the Florida Bar in good standing (required).
