This exciting role is a vital part of our Construction department, where you will lead and manage large-scale commercial construction projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and can drive the team towards achieving the highest levels of performance.

Job Details
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Lead Commercial Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This exciting role is a vital part of our Construction department, where you will lead and manage large-scale commercial construction projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and can drive the team towards achieving the highest levels of performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of commercial construction projects.
- Manage project budget, timeline, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and manage the contract administration process, including negotiation, execution, and ongoing management of contracts.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest level of project quality.
- Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and profitability regularly.
- Strategically plan and forecast project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular team meetings to update members on progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven experience in contract management, risk management, and budgeting.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on performance monitoring and improvement.
- High proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
