Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation and trial.
- Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and memorandums.
- Develop litigation strategies and present them to partners and clients for approval.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and arbitration.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
- Monitor and manage all aspects of a case from inception to resolution, ensuring that cases are handled efficiently.
- Participate in business development activities to help maintain existing clients and attract new ones.
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Licensed to practice law in the state.
- Proven experience in dispute resolution and litigation management.
- Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal case management software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
