A high-precision machining manufacturing company that supplies components to the aerospace industry hiring a 1st and 2nd shift Machinist in Mukwonago, WI.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Read refractometer to maintain proper concentration and coolant levels.
• In addition to setting tools and making offsets in tool page, load a program and establish work holding positions and make minor program edits.
• Edit individual tool feed rates to establish SFM (Surface Feet per Minute) and related chip loads.
• Read, interpret, and understand blueprint specifications to methods of manufacturing (MOM) per routing.
• Identify when to replace dull tooling before catastrophic failure.
• Comply with all quality and safety regulations and procedures.

Job Details

• 2 years of professional experience working as a Machinist
• Experience with 3-axis programs
• Ability to set-up and adjust work holding devises.
• General understanding machine types and their applications.
• Ability to understand and comprehend industrial math.
• Strong knowledge of technical GD&T drawing and reading skills.
• Ability to understand quality standards and gauging.
• Basic understanding of hard gauging checks on granite table.
