The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to manage its financial and accounting functions. This key role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly preferred.
- 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller in the manufacturing industry.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
