Job Details
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a full-time, permanent position. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our building design projects, from conception to completion. You will be responsible for creating mechanical designs of HVAC systems for a variety of projects including restaurants, entertainment venues, and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop detailed HVAC systems for building projects
2. Review and analyze architectural drawings and specifications to ensure mechanical design meets building codes and standards.
4. Conduct design reviews, identifying potential issues and proposing effective solutions.
6. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other team members to deliver integrated and coordinated designs.
7. Participate in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks.
8. Monitor project progress, ensuring that design specifications are met and deadlines are adhered to.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering of HVAC systems in a variety of building types.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor projects.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and resolving design issues.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members from various disciplines.
9. Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other engineering design tools.
10. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
