Responsibilities
As a Medical Front Desk Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include
- Managing the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Performing administrative duties such as answering phone calls, directing them to the appropriate departments, and responding to patient queries.
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments, surgeries, and medical consultations.
- Handling data entry tasks, maintaining patient records, and updating our database with the latest information.
- Utilizing Microsoft Office 365 for various administrative tasks, including email correspondence.
- Processing billing information, verifying insurance coverage, and managing claims.
- Assisting in the preparation and dispatch of mail, packages, and correspondence.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and care.
- Adhering to all healthcare regulations, standards, and protocols.
To be considered for this role, you should have
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role within the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially in handling emails and data management.
- Excellent data entry skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in managing phone systems and directing calls appropriately.
- Knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance claims, and related administrative tasks.
- Familiarity with scheduling appointments in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and staff.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A high degree of professionalism, with a patient-centric approach to work.
