We are seeking a seasoned MEP Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) related activities throughout the entire life cycle of our Mission Critical construction projects. This role involves the direct supervision of the mission-critical aspects of our projects and requires a high level of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and project management expertise.

We are seeking a seasoned MEP Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) related activities throughout the entire life cycle of our Mission Critical construction projects. This role involves the direct supervision of the mission-critical aspects of our projects and requires a high level of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and project management expertise.
Responsibilities
- Manage all MEP related aspects of Mission Critical projects, from conception to completion, ensuring that work is carried out to the client's standards, specification, and schedule.
- Lead the coordination and integration of MEP services in construction designs, ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure the smooth integration of MEP systems into overall project designs.
- Monitor the progress of MEP works, ensuring that the project is on schedule and within budget.
- Review and approve material and equipment for MEP systems prior to installation.
- Troubleshoot any potential issues or risks, implementing effective solutions and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of project status to stakeholders and upper management.
- Foster relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to establish communication channels that facilitate problem-solving and project progress.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully completed construction projects involving extensive MEP works.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction management processes, means and methods.
- Knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to present and explain complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
