Job Details
What You Will Be Doing
Evaluating patients with spinal pain or back injuries, obtaining medical history, and performing physical examinations
Providing direct treatment and management of patients, including appropriate referrals
Assisting in spine surgery at the local hospital and in-house surgery center
Ordering imaging studies and laboratory tests, and reviewing results with patients
Using electronic health record systems to document patient records accurately and timely
Performing peer-to-peer reviews and handling prior authorizations
Collaborating with healthcare providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff
Skills You Need
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current, unrestricted Washington ARNP or PA license
Unrestricted DEA license
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
