We are a boutique probate firm with multiple offices in Florida. We are looking to add an experienced probate paralegal to our Miami team to assist in managing high net worth individuals. A Florida Registered Paralegal is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered. Bilingual candidates a plus.

We are on the hunt for a talented, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to work on complex and diverse cases, providing critical support to our skilled attorneys. The successful candidate will have a strong background in legal writing, fiduciary matters, legal research, and court hearings through the probate and estate planning process.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Paralegal, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to

• Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
• Assisting in the preparation for court hearings, trials, and corporate meetings.
• Maintaining and managing client files, legal filing systems, and case management systems.
• Communicating effectively with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other attorneys, including those who may speak a different language.
• Performing fiduciary duties, including managing trusts and estates, and handling financial transactions.
• Coordinating and managing schedules, meetings, and deadlines.
• Providing administrative support to the legal team as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a probate/trusts & estates paralegal; preferably working with high net worth individuals
• A bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, or a related field.
• A paralegal certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in legal research software and legal databases.
• Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
• Experience with fiduciary matters and court hearings.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• A high level of professionalism and integrity.
