Job Details
- Design, analyze, and enhance manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs.
- Implement Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement and eliminate defects in processes.
- Lead engineering management initiatives, including project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the supply chain management team to optimize production planning and ensure the seamless flow of materials.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and control protocols to ensure product consistency and adherence to standards.
- Utilize CMMS software for maintenance planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure GMP compliance across all manufacturing processes and systems.
- Enforce OSHA regulations and food and health safety standards to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor team members on new processes, technologies, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement process enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in process improvement, Six Sigma, and engineering management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, production planning, and quality assurance/control.
- Proficiency in using CMMS software.
- Solid understanding of GMP compliance, OSHA regulations, and food and health safety standards.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt will be a plus.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
