Job Details

- Maintain master setup of well and facility design used to calculate and allocate production and sales volumes within the ProdView production accounting system
- Interface with team members to understand field facility and measurement design
- Analyze entry results, investigate, and correct variance discrepancies. Escalate issues to ensure timely and accurate reporting and transmission of operational and production data.
- Analyze, reconcile, and run daily and monthly oil, gas, and water volumes used for accounting accruals, revenue distribution, and cost allocations.
- Gas gathering system and gas lift distribution balancing, identification and analysis of discrepancies, variances, and imbalances.
- Validate and reconcile purchaser oil statements to daily / monthly trucked oil run tickets.
- Understand natural gas liquid, gas processing plant shrink, and yield factors.
- Preparation and timely submission of regulatory filings.
- Participate in training sessions with field personnel.
What you need for this position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Mathematics preferred.
- 2 years upstream production analyst or accounting.
- Experience using the ProdView production accounting system preferred.
- Solid understanding of production accounting, including complex allocation methods and reconciliation.
- Demonstrates understanding of the interdependencies across disciplines of financial and operations accounting and how those impact company performances.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in using interactive databases, query and report writing, and Excel pivot tables.
