Job Description
Our dynamic and fast-growing company in the food manufacturing industry is seeking a Permanent Production Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure that our production lines run smoothly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the production process, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), and safety policies. They will also manage and train production staff, collaborate with other departments to streamline operations, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing operations, excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the production process to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards and regulations.
- Constantly inspect all production lines to ensure product meets specifications.
- Ensure compliance with GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), SSOP's (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) and safety policies.
- Complete all necessary company paperwork related to production, quality control, and safety.
- Work and assist with sanitation cleaning as needed to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Manage and train production staff to ensure a high level of performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Use MS Office to track, analyze, and report on production data.
- Monitor production process to ensure smooth flow and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement new processes as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a discipline supporting food manufacturing operations or 3 years equivalent experience and training.
- Minimum of 2 years of food manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor.
- In-depth understanding of GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), SSOP's (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), and safety policies.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in production management, with a proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity.
- Requires 5 years of experience in a similar role.
