As a Permanent Project Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include
- Developing and managing detailed project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will meet the project objectives.
- Ensuring project compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
- Managing contracts and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Overseeing the delivery of construction materials and ensuring their proper storage and distribution on site.
- Resolving any site issues swiftly to prevent project delays.
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
- Providing technical advice to the project team and stakeholders.
- Preparing and presenting project progress reports to senior management.
The successful candidate for the Permanent Project Engineer role should possess the following qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software.
- Familiarity with construction and project management software (such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera).
- Exceptional contract management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- A professional engineering (PE) license will be considered an advantage.
