We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction projects. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our project management team, playing a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of our construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
2. Utilizing CAD software to develop detailed project designs and plans.
3. Evaluating project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance with regulations and client needs.
4. Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
5. Analyzing and resolving technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
6. Conducting site inspections and monitoring project progress to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
7. Preparing and presenting project progress reports to management and stakeholders.
8. Participating in project meetings and providing technical input.
9. Assisting in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
10. Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.
3. Proficient in the use of CAD software for design and project planning.
4. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues effectively.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of project stakeholders.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
8. A proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
9. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.
