We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager with a focus on Healthcare Construction for Free Standing Emergency Departments (FSED). This role is ideally suited to a driven and motivated individual with a proven track record in managing large-scale healthcare construction projects, particularly in Free Standing Emergency Departments (FSED), from the ground up.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to
- Managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning and execution for healthcare construction projects, particularly Free Standing Emergency Departments (FSED), from inception to completion.
- Coordinating with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.
- Preparing and submitting budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
- Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, particularly AHCA.
- Conducting risk management activities to minimize project risks.
- Effectively communicating project expectations, updates, and potential issues to team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties or vendors.
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in healthcare construction.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, ground-up healthcare construction projects, particularly Free Standing Emergency Departments (FSED).
- Demonstrated knowledge of AHCA regulations and standards.
- Experience in commercial projects will be considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
