We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Purchasing Specialist to join our team in the construction industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a strong background in inventory management, procurement, and purchasing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in sourcing, procuring, and managing the materials, plants, and equipment necessary to execute our landscape construction projects. This role requires superior vendor relations, budgeting skills, and an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage all aspects of purchasing for landscape construction projects, including materials, plants, and equipment.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement and timely delivery of products and services.
- Maintain inventory control, ensuring the availability of necessary materials and equipment while minimizing waste and excess stock.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to coordinate purchasing activities and ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor and control project budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, leveraging this knowledge to source new suppliers and products as needed.
