We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining our SQF and HACCP programs, conducting SQF audits, and managing manufacturing operations. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining our SQF and HACCP programs, conducting SQF audits, and managing manufacturing operations. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's SQF and HACCP programs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular SQF audits, identify areas of non-compliance, and implement corrective actions to address any issues.
- Manage all aspects of the manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance procedures and standards to promote a culture of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and reduce waste.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, and use this information to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate and address any customer complaints or concerns related to product quality.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations, and ensure that the company's practices are in line with these developments.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance.
- SQF Practitioner certification is required.
- HACCP certification is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on SQF and HACCP programs.
- Proven experience in conducting SQF audits and managing manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, and processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and motivate staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to achieving the highest standards of quality and safety.
