Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the revenue recognition process (ASC 606) in accordance with company policies
• Performing monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Analyzing and reviewing contracts, orders, and sales transactions to ensure proper revenue recognition
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and schedules
• Collaborating with the sales and finance teams to resolve revenue recognition issues
• Assisting in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Participating in financial audits and providing recommendations for procedural improvements
• Providing support for special projects and ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or CMA certification is preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue accounting
• Proficiency in month-end close processes and the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards, particularly those related to revenue recognition
