We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Night shift Sanitation Supervisor to join our team in the Food Manufacturing sector. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our production facilities, ensuring our commitment to food safety and quality is uncompromised. As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will be directly responsible for overseeing the sanitation program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing leadership to our sanitation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), be fluent in Spanish, and have a comprehensive understanding of Safe Quality Food (SQF) protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sanitation operations, ensuring all areas of the production facility meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive sanitation SOPs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate sanitation staff, fostering a culture of safety, cleanliness, and accountability.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to SSOP, SQF, and other food safety standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to address and resolve sanitation issues promptly.
• Manage sanitation department budget, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure all sanitation records and documentation are accurately maintained and up-to-date.
• Lead investigation and corrective actions in case of sanitation-related incidents or non-compliance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in food sanitation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Food Manufacturing industry.
• Proficient knowledge of Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).
• Strong understanding of Safe Quality Food (SQF) protocols.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; bilingual candidates are preferred.
• Proven experience in training and supervising a team.
• Excellent knowledge of local, state, and federal sanitation regulations and guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field is preferred.
• Certification in food safety (such as HACCP or similar) is a plus.
