The Senior Accountant will be responsible for tasks such as preparing financial statements, tax preparation, and accounting duties for over a dozen inter-companies.
Qualifications
- 8 years of Experience as a CPA or in a similar role
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8 years' experience with QuickBooks
- Manage and set payment terms for vendor contracts to align with company financial policies
- Manage the chart of accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Knowledge of FL and NY tax laws
- Proven track record in running the financials for multiple companies at a time
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (Sage preferred), accounting software, and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of third-party payment platforms and interface with QuickBooks Online and bank accounts
- Robust skills in Microsoft Excel required
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Work experience at a food company ais plus
