Our client, a growing real estate company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing team.

Responsibilities
- Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the senior accountant’s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
- Overseeing general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.
- Utilizing hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices to perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses.
- Working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and procedures.
- Assisting with tax audits and tax returns.
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 1 years audit experience required.
- Experience with audit, GAAP, and pursuing CPA.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
