Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for running the general ledger in Sage. They will report to the controller, and they will eventually have an analyst and an AR / AP associate working under them, helping with the day to day.
- Process general ledger entries in Sage
- Reconcile cash receipts, wire transfers and bank accounts
- Help prepare the monthly close
- Work with management to refine internal processes to help increase efficiencies, reduce possibility of operational errors, and grow the business
- Utilize Sage Intacct, and other cloud-based software Avalara, BREX etc.
- Contribute to evaluating new software platforms and modules
- Ad‐hoc projects that add value
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
- Experienced with Sage Intacct or Oracle NetSuite is ideal
