Job Details

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing all audit operations, ensuring compliance with AIPCA and PCAOB standards.
• Coordinating and executing comprehensive audits of financial statements, internal controls, and operational procedures.
• Collaborating with senior management to develop strategic audit plans and risk management strategies.
• Managing relationships with high net worth individuals and venture capitalists, providing expert advice and guidance on financial matters.
• Reviewing and approving stock options, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Preparing and presenting detailed audit reports to senior management, highlighting any areas of concern and proposing appropriate solutions.
• Providing leadership and guidance to junior audit staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry trends, ensuring the company's auditing procedures remain compliant and effective.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on corporate finance. Experience in both private and public sectors is preferred.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification will be considered an asset.
• Extensive knowledge of AIPCA and PCAOB auditing standards.
• Proven experience working with high net worth individuals and venture capitalists.
• Familiarity with stock options and relevant regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to a variety of audiences.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the company's values and ethical standards.
