Our company is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects in different sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, ensuring they meet customer specifications and comply with industry standards. This position requires a professional engineer with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems, ensuring they meet customer requirements and adhere to safety and quality standards.
2. Use advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Energy Pro for electrical design and documentation.
3. Interpret client requirements and provide innovative design solutions that meet their needs.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and designers to develop integrated solutions.
5. Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards and specifications.
6. Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational, safety, or environmental standards.
7. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
8. Plan layout of electric power generating plants and distribution lines and stations.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and propose new technologies for implementation.
10. Comply with National Electrical Code (NEC) for all designs and installations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
2. A Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
3. Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design and engineering.
4. Proficiency in electrical engineering software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
5. Extensive knowledge of NEC and other relevant codes and standards.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to coordinate multiple projects.
8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
9. Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage projects effectively.
10. Ability to provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
