We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This is a permanent, hybrid position that will allow you to work both remotely and in-person. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and decision support to our senior leadership, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company. This position is within the Accounting Finance industry and requires a solid understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), advanced Excel skills, and a knack for ad hoc financial analysis.

Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This is a permanent, hybrid position that will allow you to work both remotely and in-person. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and decision support to our senior leadership, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company. This position is within the Accounting Finance industry and requires a solid understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), advanced Excel skills, and a knack for ad hoc financial analysis.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Analyst, your duties will include but are not limited to
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance.
- Conducting financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Creating and managing the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting, and variances analysis.
- Providing ad hoc financial analysis and projects as requested by management.
- Assisting with decision support functions across the organization to drive business initiatives.
- Utilizing advanced Excel skills to manipulate large data sets and streamline financial reporting processes.
- Collaborating with various teams to understand business operations and provide financial insights.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and planning.
- Strata software experience is required.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, etc.)
- Strong understanding of FP&A and decision support.
- Proven experience in managing annual budgets and conducting ad hoc financial analysis.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
