Our client, a well-known growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its growing team.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting.
• Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes.
• Conduct comparative financial analysis to identify trends and assess financial performance.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as Retention forecasts, Event Tracking and ROI, Sales and Marketing spending efficiency, etc.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including variance analysis and commentary on trends and changes.
• Coordinate with the FP&A team to prepare accurate forecasts and budgets.
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  
  

Job Details

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business finance or other relevant experience.
• Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy role.
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions. Knowledge of other data analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• Good business acumen.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management.
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.
• Experience with financial modeling, variance, FP&A, forecasting, and annual budgeting.
• Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in the construction industry or manufacturing sector is a plus.
