Responsibilities
As a Senior Labor & Employment Attorney, your responsibilities will include
- Providing expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including but not limited to, wage and hour laws, workplace safety, wrongful termination, and employment contracts.
- Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts and agreements.
- Conducting thorough and effective legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Developing and implementing effective legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.
- Collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Maintaining a portable book of business and actively contributing to business development efforts.
- Staying updated with current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to labor and employment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Senior Labor & Employment Attorney position will have the following qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Labor & Employment Attorney.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
- Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
- Proven track record in labor and employment law.
- Experience with a portable book of business.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
