Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our product and engineering teams to create user-centered designs for our digital products. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills. This position is full-time and permanent, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process throughout the entire product lifecycle, including research, sketches, wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business goals, and translate them into effective and innovative design solutions.
- Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across all digital products.
- Create and implement interactive prototypes to illustrate design ideas.
- Conduct usability testing and user research, analyzing results to inform design decisions.
- Present design concepts and deliverables to stakeholders, effectively communicating design rationale and trade-offs.
- Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Stay informed on the latest design trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to your work.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision.
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design, from research and ideation to implementation.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and processes to stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile design principles and current design trends.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
