Job Details
Responsibilities -
- Secure transportation projects with ODOT, city, and county agencies
- Prepare detailed scope and fee proposals
- Manage and track project financials and budgets
- Oversee and maintain project schedules
- Perform highway design and related computations
- Ensure quality control and lead the preparation of detailed engineering designs for roadways, highways, and interchanges, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Mentor and develop the skills of junior and entry-level highway design engineers.
- Engage frequently with clients and prepare comprehensive project reports.
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering
- Active PE registration
- 10
- years’ of experience in a combination of highway design and project management
- Preliminary and Final design experience with ODOT projects, specifications and guidelines preferred
- Civil 3D, OpenRoad Designer, and roadway design software required
