We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the financial activities of the company, ensuring legal compliance, and providing accurate financial reports and analysis. Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for
- Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
- Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenue.
- Managing month-end and year-end closing.
- Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
- Organizing financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
- Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
- . Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position will have the following qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A Master's degree would be an added advantage.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the finance industry.
