We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone who is also seeking Partner track and expects to achieve this within 5 years or so.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of tax accountants
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Research and analyze tax issues and provide recommendations to clients
- Manage client relationships and communicate with clients regarding tax matters
- Assist with tax audits and other tax-related matters
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification required
- 5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- 2 years of experience in people management
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with tax software, such as ProSystem fx Tax or similar programs
