We are seeking an experienced Lead Traffic Engineer to join our team in our newly formed Freehold, NJ office. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the development of RFP responses, traffic studies, traffic analysis, intersection design, pavement marking plans, and traffic signal design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or contribute to the development of RFP responses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on traffic engineering projects
- Conduct traffic studies, analysis, and modeling
- Design and implement traffic signal systems and intersection designs
- Develop and maintain technical documents and presentations
Requirements:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in NJ or Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification
- Strong experience with NJDOT projects and traffic engineering principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
