Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our progressive engineering firm. You will play a pivotal role in managing and executing a wide range of wastewater projects, from inception to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the environmental health and sustainability of our communities.
Responsibilities:
1. Designing, planning, and implementing wastewater projects, including treatment plants, pumping stations, and collection systems.
2. Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
3. Conducting detailed engineering analyses and preparing technical reports.
4. Managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
5. Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
6. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality solutions.
7. Continuously monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure successful project outcomes.
8. Participating in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the wastewater engineering field, with a focus on project management responsibilities.
3. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is a must.
4. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is preferred.
5. Proven experience in managing complex wastewater projects, including design, implementation, and monitoring.
6. Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, systems, and equipment.
7. Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
9. A strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
10. Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
