We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our progressive engineering firm. You will play a pivotal role in managing and executing a wide range of wastewater projects, from inception to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the environmental health and sustainability of our communities.
Responsibilities
- Designing, planning, and implementing wastewater projects, including treatment plants, pumping stations, and collection systems.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
- Conducting detailed engineering analyses and preparing technical reports.
- Managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Continuously monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Participating in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the wastewater engineering field, with a focus on project management responsibilities.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is a must.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing complex wastewater projects, including design, implementation, and monitoring.
- Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, systems, and equipment.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- A strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
