An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Software QA Test Engineer to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is proficient in QA automation, to ensure the quality of our software applications and systems.
Responsibilities
As a Software QA Test Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include
- Developing, maintaining, and executing automated testing scripts for software applications
- Collaborating with the software development team to understand product changes and update tests accordingly.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects to ensure resolution and compliance with quality standards.
- Participating in the design and development of comprehensive test plans and procedures for system testing.
- Reviewing and analyzing system specifications for QA requirements and to ensure full coverage of system requirements.
- Implementing QA process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participating in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Providing feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
The ideal candidate for the Software QA Test Engineer position should have the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to think critically.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
